Your Resignation Revenue Number (RRN) is the monthly revenue number that your business should be generating by your resignation date. The RRN assumes:
1) that your current salary is enough for you to live off of (because you're living off of it right now),
2) that your personnel costs (the salary you pay yourself) should be no more than 30% of your monthly revenue.
The RRN is the monthly revenue number that satisfies both of these conditions. This number will allow you to pay yourself your current salary while also setting aside 70% of your business revenue for overhead expenses and cash reserves.
